Met Eireann has issued it's most serious weather warning for Counties Cork and Kerry.
The Red alert is warning of storm force winds - with gusts of up to 160 kilometres per hour forecast for this morning, along with high seas.
An Orange alert is in place in Wexford, Galway, Mayo, Clare, Limerick and Waterford where winds are expected to reach 130 kilometres per hour.
