Police in London are expected to launch a murder inquiry, following the death of an Irishman who was found in a rubbish skip on Saturday.

37 year old Michael Hunt from Kilmore Quay in Co Wexford, was found seriously injured in the skip, in an alleyway around a mile from his London Home.

Mr Hunt was rushed to Kings College Hospital, but died a few hours later.

He had moved to London to find work six years ago.
