Only a quarter of people believe their parents understand what they do for a living.

LinkedIn says less than half think their parents even know what their job title is.

Parents are least confident about describing what a UI Designer is - followed by a Data Scientist and a Sub Editor.

The findings were released by LinkedIn to mark the 3rd annual Bring Your Parents to Word Day
