The World Health Organisation has moved to clarify its report on processed red meat.
Earlier this week, the WHO classified processed and red meats as 'carcinogenic to humans'.
It said there is a clear link between eating too much processed meat and bowel cancer and that red meat is a likely cause of some cancers.
However the body says it's not calling for people to stop eating red meat altogether, and instead of banning preserved meat we should reduce our consumption of it.
