Wife killer Eamonn Lillis is due to walk free today from Wheatfield prison.

The 57 year old has served over 5 years in prison for the manslaughter of Celine Cawley at their home in Howth in December 2008.

Journalists have been waiting since late last night for Eamonn Lillis to emerge from the prison gates.

It’s believed the 57 year old former film producer will go to the UK following his release.

He’s an estimated 1.3 million euro fortune from the sale of the Howth mansion Rowan Hill where he killed his wife Celine Cawley and his share of their joint assets from their now dissolved film company Toytown productions.
