There is a weather warning in place for six counties this morning.

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow warning for Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Kerry.

Southerly winds will gust up to 100 km per hour, strongest along coastal areas.

The warning is valid from 11am this morning to midnight.
