Gardai have issued a witness appeal following a shooting in Drogheda, Co. Louth last night.
At around, 7:50pm, a number of shots were fired at the driver of a silver VW Golf in Elmwood Close.
The driver suffered non-life threatening injuries in the shooting.
Two cars were seen driving away from the scene, a Grey Peugeot 407 07C2620 and a Grey Honda Accord 05D13539.
They were found burnt out a short time later in Termonfeckin and Collon.
Later that night, at 11.40pm and 11.50pm petrol bombs were thrown at two houses in the Moneymore area of Drogheda.
Anyone who may have any information about any of these incidents is being asked to contact Gardai.
