A 26 year old woman will appear before Trim District Court this morning, in connection with a fire in Co. Louth over the weekend, which has left a pensioner in hospital.
A woman in her 70's was asleep at her home on the Chord Road in Drogheda when the fire broke out on Saturday night.
The woman is being treated at St James's Hospital in Dublin, for burns and smoke inhalation.
Three men who had been questioned about the incident have been released without charge.
A 26 year old woman -who was charged yesterday evening - will appear in court this morning.
