Bernadette Scully has been charged with the murder of her 11-year-old daughter Emily Barut in Tullamore in September 2012.
Ms. Scully, with an address at Bachelors Walk in Tullamore. appeared at Tullamore district court this morning.
The body of Emily Barut - who had cerebral palsy - was found at her family home on Bachelor's Walk in Tullamore on the 15th of September 2012.
Ms. Scully, who is a GP, was remanded in custody and will appear again at a sitting of Tullamore District Court this Wednesday.
