A woman has died after falling under a train in north Dublin.
The woman was waiting on the platform at Raheny DART station just before 2 this afternoon when she tripped and fell onto the track as a fast-moving train was approaching.
Irish Rail says the driver put on the emergency brake but couldn't stop the train before it hit the woman.
The woman - understood to be in her 50s - was rushed to Beaumont Hospital, but later died.
Services were disrupted for a time, but have now returned to normal.
