A woman in her 50s has died following a multi-vehicle crash in Co. Roscommon.
She was killed after three cars collided on the N5 at Strokestown, between Scramogue Cross and Tarmonbarry, at 8 o'clock this morning.
The people in the other two cars were also injured.
In the second car, a woman in her 40s has been taken to Tullamore Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
And, in the third car, a woman in her 40s and a 12-year-old boy have been taken to Ballinasloe Hospital.
Gardai say their injuries are also not life-threatening.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
