A woman in her twenties has died in a road collision in Wexford.

It happened on the N25 at Kilmacree this afternoon.

The male driver and female passenger in the other car, both in their 50's have been seriously injured and were taken to Wexford General Hospital.

The young woman was taken to the same hospital after the accident but died there a short time later.

The road has re-opened following a Garda Forensic Examination.
