A woman has been taken to hospital after a collision with a Luas in Dublin.

Gardai say a car collided with the tram on the Red line in Tallaght at around midday.

The Luas remains closed in both directions at the Tallaght Hospital stop.

It's understood the woman was a passenger on the tram and her injuries are not life threatening.
