Second Fire Tragedy For Annmarie O'Brien's Family

Annmarie O'Brien - the 27 year old - who was killed in a fire in Clondalkin in Dublin was a relation of the victims of the Carrickmines Fire in 2015.

Annmarie was seven months pregnant.

Her 2-year-old daughter Paris also died along with their cousins 3 year old Holly and 4 year old Jordan.

Their mother Brigid O'Brien remains in a critical condition in hospital.

The Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald has been paying tribute to the four victims at their apartment on the Kilcronin estate earlier today. 

Annmarie O'Brien originally came from the Fassaroe area of Bray in Co Wicklow.

Susan Keogh has been speaking to Local Sinn Fein TD John Brady about the tragedy:

 

Forensic tests to establish the cause of the fire will be carried out at the first floor flat today.

The homes was being used as temporary accommodation for the victims of domestic abuse.
