The former Greek finance minister has been criticised for toying with the lives of others - because of his driving habits.

Yanis Varoufakis has been criticised in the Seanad for driving his motorbike with a helmet for himself - but with none for his partner.

The matter's been in raised in the Seanad by Fine Gael's Cait Keane, who says the former minister is being "reckless".

But she was dismissed by Senator David Norris when she tried to scold Mr Varoufakis for his habits:
