An investigation is underway following the deaths of two young brothers in Co Sligo.
The discovery was made in an area known as Banada in Tubbercurry yesterday evening.
A nine-year-old boy was found in the house with stab wounds, while his 21-year-old brother was found dead in a shed outside.
The young boy was removed from the scene by air ambulance to Sligo Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The scene has been preserved while gardai carry out a technical examination.
The Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
Gardaí say they are not looking for anybody in relation to the incident.
Local Councillor Gerry Lundy says the community is in shock.
