Experts in Brazil now suspect the Zika virus is being carried by common mosquitos - not just ones found in the tropics.

If scientists prove that, it dramatically increases the risk of it spreading worldwide.

The virus is linked to more than 4-thousand babies with brain deformities in South America's largest country.

Researcher Doctor Constanca Ayres says there could be other ways of catching it too.
