A new digital butler that could answer your every whim at home could be developed by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.

He's set himself the personal challenge of building a "simple" Artificial Intelligence - to help out at home with music, lights and temperture and even recognise his friends' faces when they ring the doorbell.

Journalist Colm Gorey with Silicon Republic says it will be designed to respond to his voice, kind of like Jarvis in the film Ironman.
