It’s taken about a year, but Disney have acquired 21st Century Fox for the simple price of $71 billion (around €62 billion).
This makes Disney the biggest entertainment company the world as ever seen and this deal will impact the media landscape massively and pave the way for Disney to launch their streaming service, Disney Plus, which will be out later this year.
But what does all this mean for cinema goers? How will Cinderella and The Simpsons live under the same roof?
As well as that, there could be some BIG changes to the Marvel Universe. Does that mean we could we see Deadpool in the Avengers soon?
