It's been a fast 8 years, but thankfully, those googly-eyed twins will 'grace' our TV screens once again come this October.

We've always been big fans of the O'Leprosy brothers and now we've got even more of a reason to love them as comedian, broadcaster and social media queen Doireann Garrihy will join them on the new series.

The Dubliner popped by this morning to chat to Dermot and Dave about how she landed the role and revealed how she was introduced to the puppets. And it was definitely an interview with a difference.

The impressionist also did some spot on impersonations which had us in stitches. Her Saoirse Ronan is A1.

It was my first time hearing D&D mimic Podge and Rodge and it was unreal lads!!!

Taking over from Lucy Kennedy involves big shoes to fill, but we know Doireann is gonna smash it out of the park.

This is what she can expect: *full male nudity follows*

Roll on the Autumn.
