What on Earth is a vibe manager? That’s the first question put to Joe Balance on this week’s Ask Me Anything with Dermot and Dave.

Joe is Ireland’s first ever vibe manger and his job is to support Dublin’s brand new Hard Rock Hotel in everything to do with music and culture.

Joe's role is to make sure that music is at the heart of everything that happens at Hard Rock Hotel Dublin.

So if you want a Fender from the in-house guitar collection Joe will bring that to you with an amp and headphones. If you want to listen to some vinyl, Joe will bring you a player and a selection of vinyl based on your musical taste. If you tell the reservations team who your favourite artists, genres etc are when booking then Joe will have a playlist waiting on your in-room system, playing as you walk through the door of your room.

He's also in charge of showing guests around the incredible music memorabilia collection at the hotel showing them pieces from David Bowie, Phil Lynott, Van Morrison, Kurt Cobain and a whole lot more.
