What could be more Irish than a Chicken Fillet roll?

Well, it turns out the deli delicacy may not be as popular as we think.

This morning on Dermot & Dave we spoke to a listener caller Emma from Mullingar who have never eaten a chicken roll in her life.

It all came off the back of this weeks competition on the show, where Dermot & Dave are giving one lucky listener a change to win a Centra Gold Card, which would entitle them to one free chicken roll a week, FOR A YEAR!

In response to the competition, Emma messages in and Dave decided we had to talk to her on-air. Emma revealed that she had been to a deli before and had gotten a Jambon but just never went for the roll.

It turns out, Emma wasn't alone and as a result Dermot & Dave received an influx of messages from people who were on their way to the shop to purchase their first Chicken Fillet Roll.
