They sure did spice up our lives!
The country is on the crest of a nostalgic wave right now with the likes of Mariah Carey smashing it at the 3Arena, Westlife melting hearts in Belfast and of course, the Spice Girls kicking off their world tour in Croke Park this evening.
With an expected 75,000-strong legion of fans descending on Croker, Dermot and Dave wanted to hear some of our listener's stories about dressing up as the most iconic girl group ever:
Jessica kicked things off by telling us how she could hear the rehearsals loud and clear from her home (she lives beside the stadium) and Maria may have been a smidge jealous.
