It's a momentous time for space fans around the world as Space X launched what is being considered as the first taxi flight for Nasa by a private company.

Four astronauts, three American and one Japanese, are currently on board Space X's 'Resilience' heading toward the International Space Station where they'll stay for six months before coming back to Earth.

Space is exciting at the best of times, but this launch is absolutely massive for the future of space travel, even here in Ireland.

Norah Patten is an Aeronautical Engineer and hopes to become Ireland's first astronaut.

Speaking to Dermot and Dave, Norah revealed why this Space X launch could mean big things for Irish space travel hopes.
