In 2015 soon after running his 3rd marathon Chris Proby from Inch in Co. Wexford was diagnosed with stage 4 aggressive non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer which had spread throughout his body. After getting the all clear in 2016, Chris relapsed and the situation worsened.

Following a huge amount of treatment which included a bone marrow transplant, Chris got the all clear in June 2017.

Chris joined Dermot and Dave to speak about his inspiring story and to encourage others to donate blood and platelets as they were a vital part of his treatment.
