Noelle O'Connor has recently appeared on the Dragon's Den UK, making her the first ever entrepreneur to feature on the show twice.
The Kildare native got her break on RTÉ's Dragons' Den back in 2010, where she secured investment from our Presidential hopeful Gavin Duffy (€50,000 for 4.5% equity) for her business TanOrganic.
I actually remember it well, but for those who don't:
Today, eight years after the original launch, TanOrganic still holds the title for the most successful Dragons’Den Ireland product with €1 Million in sales within the first 3 months of trading.
A few weeks back, she faced the five UK Dragons on BBC Two, in a bid for mentoring and investment from one of them to help expand her multimillion euro business further. And with 4 offers on the table, would she take them?
Noelle is a glowing advocate for TanOrganic, the world's first and only Eco-certified organic self-tanning brand. It’s the highest rated self tan with a score of 9.7 on Trustpilot.
They are the only self tan with full Vegan Society, Leaping Bunny Cruelty Free and Ecocert certifications with a 100% score with the ethical association.
But it wasn’t always plain sailing for Noelle as she was faced with the potential closure of her chain of beauty salons.
The Newbridge businesswoman joined Joe Donnelly on this morning's Dermot and Dave to takes us through her rollercoaster journey.
