WhatsApp is the most popular mobile messaging app in the world right now and with it comes the labyrinth that is the WhatsApp group.
I'm 99.9% sure that you're in one, if not several, right now and although they can be savage craic, they can also be an awful pain in the rear.
With so many categories being created - 'family', 'cousins', 'sports team', 'stag/hen', 'college gals/lads', 'holiday' etc. - your head would be light. You'd nearly need a personal assistant to reply to everything.
But the main question is, what type of WhatsApp groupie are you?
Dermot and Dave asked the Today FM listeners to admit what class of messenger they are and what kind of group member wrecks their head. The messages came flying in.
Here are some of the most common types:

- Contributor
- Replier
- Grosser/Smut-bringer
- Detonator
- Muter
- Sub-grouper
- Buzz Killer
- Voice Clip Sender
Then there was listener Kerry who was in that 0.1% - she wasn't in any group whatsoever. That was until the lads invited her into an exclusive club, the Today FM WhatsApp Group. And she was delighted.
