After several outlandish attacks on football players during games in the UK over the weekend, surely the time has come to revise security protocols?
The biggest talking point was Aston Villa's Jack Grealish, who was punched from behind by a mornonic Birmingham fan during their derby game at St Andrews.

But Manchester United's Chris Smalling was also confronted by an Arsenal fan during their 2-0 defeat to the Gunners, as was Rangers defender James Tevernier, who was challenged to a fist fight by a Hibs supporter in their SPL clash.
