Back in February, we spoke to Ian Jenkinson who along with 9 of his best mates, had spent 5 years saving for a dream trip.

As they all turned 40 within about 8 months of each other, they decided to forgo parties and instead to save €50 a month from January 2015 until December 2019. The goal? Have a once in a lifetime trip.

By January this year, they had amassed an incredible €30,000 to spend as they pleased and on the 2nd of March, they set off on a dream holiday.

From the Everglades to the Kennedy Space Centre, Miami to New Orleans, the so called 2020 Vision brought the lads closer than ever.

This morning, Ian Jenkinson spoke to Dermot and Dave about the trip and how the looming threat of Coronavirus became very real as they flew home from the US.
