Today Alison Curtis was in the hot seat for Mairead, and she was joined by the hilarious Alex Borstein - the Emmy award-winning actor you know best as the voice of Lois in Family Guy!

Alex told Alison that what she loves most about voice acting is the freedom to play any character instead of being limited to what you look like on camera. And she can age while Lois stays 43 and looking hot!

After a big upheaval in her life, Alex decided to give up acting and had moved Barcelona when Amy Sherman-Palladino sent her the script for The Marvellous Mrs Maisel. She fell in love with the show and is now getting ready to film the 4th series of the show that she has won two Emmy's for.
