Last week Brian Kennedy revealed the amazing news that he is officially cancer free! After being diagnosed in June 2016, Brian had received treatment and ended up undergoing stoma surgery and he feels incredibly lucky with the great results.

Brian will be taking part in the Concert4Cancer alongside Ronan Keating, Gary Barlow and Picture This, and the event will be raising much needed funds for the Marie Keating Foundation.

Brian has a personal connection with Marie Keating too, she was a big of his version of Carrickfergus which he sang to her on the phone while she was dying, and he also sang at her funeral. He believes that music is a massive part of healing for people which is why this event is so special.

Concert4Cancer will be on Virgin Media 1 this Friday the 28th at 9pm, and you can donate here.

You can hear the chat in full by pressing the play button on screen.
