Many people will get engaged this Valentine's Day, but marriage is not for everyone.

Is it a true celebration of love or just a piece of paper?

Larissa Nolan describes herself as "actively against marriage", and she joined us to explain why.

"For me it always represented a sacrificing of your own independent identity and a loss of freedom, and not being with somebody because you choose to be with them, but because you're shackled to them."

Laura Cunningham, editor of Confetti magazine, is a fan of marriage.

It's absolutely a personal choice, but I think if you choose to make a lifelong commitment to each other it's a really beautiful thing. I think the wedding itself is a unique opportunity to celebrate your love and have everyone you care about in one room."
