A new survey carried out by Reckitt Benckiser found that over half of parents want more information on the treatment of COVID-19 symptoms in children.

There remains a lot of uncertainty around the use of medicines like ibuprofen in particular, with the survey revealing that almost a third of parents are still confused about whether they can give it to their children.

Dr Sinead Beirne says there is no problem with giving ibuprofen or paracetamol to children, regardless of whether their symptoms are related to COVID-19.

She joined us to explain why it's useful to have a supply of these medicines to treat your child's symptoms if needed.
