Construction sites are set to reopen next week, but People Before Profit TDs have questioned the resources in place to protect workers from the spread of COVID-19.

Brid Smith expressed concern about tens of thousands of construction workers returning to sites that are unsafe, and said that the Health and Safety Authority is not equipped to deal with any breaches in protocol that might occur.

She was joined on The Last Word by Tom Parlon, Director General of the Construction Industry Federation, to discuss this.
