In yesterday's Sunday Times, Larissa Nolan wrote about her personal experience of having being raped.
She also shared her thoughts on the #MeToo movement, and whether it accurately represents the experiences of many women who have been the victims of sexual assault.
Larissa joined us on The Last Word to talk about why she has her doubts about #MeToo.
"In the beginning I was uncomfortable with it because it operated by: somebody is accused and they're instantly guilty. I think one of the greatest injustices that anyone can go through is to be accused of something in the wrong."
"If you leave an open door policy of believing everybody instantly, there are people out there who will exploit that, and ultimately it's the victims who get hurt because people start not believing them."
"To let people like that stand alongside people who have genuinely been through the trauma is not right."
