Dublin's Berlin D2 Bar was the subject of controversy last August when footage emerged appearing to show a barman dancing on the counter while pouring drinks into the mouths of customers.

The event had been advertised online as 'a very boozy baked brunch with your buds', and led to a Garda investigation into alleged breaches of COVID-19 guidelines.

In court today, Gardaí formally objected to the bar renewing its licence.
