The latest generation of young people is Generation Z.

Born around the early 2000s, Gen Z is more plugged in and more politically active than the generations before.

These young people are also facing an increasingly uncertain future.

Will they be the first generation to be unable to own their own home in Ireland? Will their jobs become obsolete? How damaged will their planet be?

Student Zana Zee Keough, Amande Ade, Creative director of Black and Irish, and Rizwan Zahid student and founder of Youth Takeover Charity, joined The Last Word to discuss what the future holds for their generation.
