Figures released today by the CSO have revealed that 18,072 homes were built in Ireland last year.

Sinn Féin TD Eoin O'Broin says the government is 43% behind the targets set for 2021.

Is this the case?

Have we in fact seen a substantial increase in homes built, or has the government failed to deliver on its housing commitments?
