Musician and "showman extraordinaire" Jerry Fish is a regular at Electric Picnic, but he is now involved with a new music festival called Kaleidoscope.

It takes place at Russborough House in Blessington, Co. Wicklow, and is aimed at families and kids.

Jerry describes music and arts festivals as "the last bastion of community" and sees them as a way of bringing people of all ages together.

He will be bringing his own Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow to the festival, putting on circus and carnival entertainment in between acts.

Jerry joined us on The Last Word to talk about Kaleidoscope and how young people are influencing society.

"There's great music being made by very young artists now."

"I think there will be a time soon when 16-year-olds will vote. We need to be united by listening to all our voices."
