Resident Evil is one of the most popular games of all time.
It made its debut on the PlayStation in 1996 and since then, sales of the entire franchise have reached 88 million.
The game has also inspired six movies, which have grossed over $1.2 billion worldwide, making Resident Evil the highest-grossing film series based on a game.
The remake of Resident Evil 2 has shipped three million copies in just one week, and is available now on PC, PS34 and Xbox starting at €59.99.
