Today FM's Dare To Care campaign aims to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society.

In the run up to our National Day of Dancing event on 30 April, we've been hearing stories from people who have been through cancer, or who may have lost someone as a result of cancer.

Alison Healy, Today FM's head of digital, joined us on The Last Word to share her own moving story of losing her father to cancer five years ago, when he was just 54 years old.
