Three cases of a COVID-19 variant first identified in India have been found in Ireland.

At least two of the cases are said to be travel-related, while the third is being investigated.

Concern in England about this variant resulted in India being added to its 'red list' of countries for which mandatory hotel quarantine is required.

But should we be worried?
