SIM swap fraud is becoming increasingly common, and it has resulted in people losing substantial amounts of money.
The scam involves criminals taking control of your phone number and using it to gain access to your bank account by intercepting authorisation codes.
But how do they manage to do this, and what can you do to protect yourself?
