The extraordinary story of a family of Dublin hitmen who killed 12 people has been told in a new book.

Stephen Breen and Owen Conlon of The Irish Sun are the authors of The Hitmen: The Shocking True Story of a Family of Killers for Hire.

It tells the story of five members of the Wilson family – brothers John, Eric and Keith, their nephew Luke and cousin Alan – and how they became the country's first family of contract assassins.

The book draws on exclusive access to wiretaps, case files and interviews with sources close to the family.
