Weekend Breakfast returned to Cadbury's Camp Freddo in Blessington, Co. Wicklow for the second time.

All the ticket sales went directly to help the incredible work of Barnardos.

Barnardos worked with 17,799 children and families last year and their partnership with Cadbury’s plays a huge part in raising funds and awareness of their work.

Mary Gamble from Barnardos had an amazing chat with Alison Curtis

They talked about the vital work Barnardos does with vulnerable children and families living in disadvantaged communities across the country.

Mary said:

"You watch these children literally unfurl over the course of the time they're with us and you see the light come back into their eyes through the work that we do."

"And when you see that, you then see the parents reaction to it and that for me is the thing that floors me every time. I see a mom or dad get excited because their kid has drawn a picture of a dinosaur, for the first time."
