The choice of our judging panel for Left Corner Back on the 15 for 15 selection is Mayo’s Keith Higgins.

As Mayo bid this month to end a 64 year wait for the Sam Maguire Cup, their leader is Ballyhaunis man Higgins.

A dual player, Keith Higgins broke onto the inter county scene in 2005, and captained the Mayo Under 21 Footballers to the All Ireland title a year later.

He’s the most successful player in Mayo Football history when it comes to All Star awards, having been picked at number 4 in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Keith Higgins is omnipresent when Mayo play. He has pace, is a great blocker of opponents and is a marauding attacking force.
