The choice of our judging panel for Left Corner Forward on the 15 for 15 selection is: Tyrone’s Peter Canavan.

He was known as ‘Peter the Great’ as his leadership turned Tyrone from pretenders into winners in the GAA history books.

Errigal Ciaran clubman Canavan overcame injury to kick 5 points in the 2003 Final win over Armagh.  He would become the first Tyrone man to lift the Sam Maguire Cup that September day.

2 years later Canavan scored a crucial goal and hit a brilliant point as Tyrone sunk Kerry to win their second All Ireland. 

Congratulations to John Salmon, who selected Peter, and who has won a SKY package for a year.
