Colm Cooper is a one in a generation player. He has two great feet, the instinct to bamboozle defenders, balance and vision. He scores goals and performs on big occasions. Who could forget his brilliant goal against Mayo in the 2004 Final, finding the net against Dublin after 40 seconds in 2009 or pulling the strings from centre forward in 2013. In his 81 championship appearances he has been a model of consistency and a role model for children across the country.
