It was going to happen eventually, but after 69 games and more than 18 months, Celtic's incredible domestic unbeaten run has come to an end.

Brendan Rodgers's side eventually came unstuck away to Hearts losing 4-0, with former Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty on target to rub salt into the wounds.

Not only was it a memorable day for the Jambos, it was also one to remember for 16-year-old midfielder Harry Cochrane, opening the scoring against the reigning champions.

Lafferty's second left Celtic with a mountain to climb at half time, but the game was over as a contest shortly after the break, David Milinkovic finishing after a horrendous mix-up at the back.

Milinkovic added a penalty late on to seal it, bringing the curtain down on Celtic's epic run.

The Bhoys last tasted defeat in domestic competition to St Johnstone in May 2016 while under the stewardship of Ronny Delia, before going on to win the Premiership, Scottish Cup and two League Cups to date under Rodgers.
