Just like the men yesterday, the Irish women's team needed a big win in Scotland to have a chance of clinching the Six Nations Championship. 

27 points were required to see off France and the women's team have hammered Scotland by 73 points to 3 in Broadwood. 

Alison Miller scored a hat trick of tries, with captain Niamh Briggs, Claire Molloy, Heather O'Brien, Gillian Bourke, Paula Fitzpatrick, Sophie Spence, Tania Rosser and Jenny Murphy also touching down. 

It's Ireland's second championship in three years and a first under coach Tom Tierney.
